What's Included With Your Rental

Every pressure washer rental ships as a complete, job-ready kit — not just a machine in a box. We check and test each component before it leaves our shop, so you can spend your rental day cleaning instead of troubleshooting fittings.

Our fleet covers the full range of homeowner and light-commercial cleaning power. Commercial machines rate their cleaning power as PSI × GPM: higher flow means you finish large areas faster, even at the same pressure. If you are still learning what those numbers mean, our guide on pressure washer PSI and GPM explained breaks it down in plain language.

Choosing between gas and electric? Gas gives you freedom from outlets and serious flow for big surfaces; electric runs quieter and lighter for jobs near the house. Our article on gas vs. electric pressure washers compares cost, noise, and maintenance in detail, and renting vs. buying a pressure washer helps you decide whether a one-day rental beats a $400 purchase. If this is your first time on the trigger, start with how to pressure wash a concrete driveway before the rental day.

Rental Workflow

Renting from us takes about fifteen minutes at the counter. Here is exactly what to expect, step by step:

  1. Reserve. Book online through our contact form, call (512) 555-0199, or walk in. Weekend slots go first, so reserve Thursday or Friday for a Saturday pickup.
  2. Pick up & check in. Bring a valid photo ID and a credit or debit card for the refundable $200 deposit. We confirm your reservation and load the unit into your truck or trailer — most units fit in a standard SUV cargo area.
  3. Safety walkthrough. A tech starts the machine with you, shows you how to connect the hose, swap nozzles, and engage the trigger lock. We review PPE (safety glasses, gloves, closed-toe shoes) and safe spray distances for your surface.
  4. Operation tips. Start with the 40° nozzle on an inconspicuous test spot. Keep the wand moving, work 6–12 inches from the surface, and never spray toward people, pets, windows, or electrical fixtures.
  5. Use the surface cleaner for flat work. For driveways and patios, the included 15-inch surface cleaner cuts cleaning time dramatically and eliminates the zebra-striping that a wand leaves behind.
  6. Refuel or recharge. Gas units: top off the tank before return, or let us refuel at local pump price plus a small service fee. Electric units: simply coil the cord and wipe down the housing.
  7. Clean the kit. Rinse detergent residue from the tank and flush the pump per the quick-start card. A two-minute cleanup keeps your deposit safe from cleaning fees.
  8. Return & inspection. Bring everything back by 6:00 PM on your due date. We inspect the unit with you, note any damage, and release the deposit hold — usually within 1–2 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a gas or electric pressure washer for my project?

Gas units (3000–4200 PSI) suit large outdoor jobs like driveways, siding, and fences where mobility matters and no outlet is nearby. Electric units (up to 2700 PSI) are quieter, lighter, and ideal for vehicles, decks, and patios within reach of a 20-amp circuit. Tell us your project and we will match the right machine.

What is the difference between PSI and GPM?

PSI measures the water pressure that breaks dirt loose; GPM measures the flow volume that rinses it away. Cleaning power is roughly PSI multiplied by GPM. A 3500 PSI / 4.0 GPM machine cleans far faster than a 3500 PSI / 2.5 GPM machine because it moves more debris off the surface.

Can a rental pressure washer damage my siding, deck, or car?

It can if used with too much pressure or the wrong nozzle. That is why every rental includes a safety walkthrough, a full nozzle set with a wide 40-degree fan tip for delicate surfaces, and written guidance on safe distances. We recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first and reading the manual.

Is fuel included with a gas pressure washer rental?

Each gas unit leaves our lot with a full tank. You return it full, or we refuel it for you at the current local pump price plus a small service fee. No fuel purchase is required up front.

Do I need a deposit to rent a pressure washer?

Yes. A refundable $200 deposit is held on a credit or debit card at pickup along with a valid photo ID. The hold is released after the unit passes its return inspection, usually within 1–2 business days depending on your bank.

What happens if the machine breaks down during my rental?

Call us right away at (512) 555-0199. If the issue is a mechanical failure under normal use, we swap the unit or refund the unused rental time at our discretion. Damage from misuse, drops, or running the pump dry is the renter's responsibility per our rental agreement.
