Popular Models & Specs
Size your machine to the job: compact scrubbers for restaurants and small retail, wide-track units for warehouses and big-box floors, and low-speed buffers for strip, scrub, and polish work. Unsure which fits your floor? Tell us the surface and square footage when you book. If you are comparing buying versus renting this class of machine, our renting vs. buying guide covers the honest math.

For tile and grout in kitchens and restrooms, a commercial steam cleaner reaches the grout lines a scrubber's pad glides over — many of our customers rent both for a complete facility reset. And for outdoor concrete around your building, our pressure washer rentals handle sidewalks and entryways.
Rental Workflow
From reservation to gleaming floors in eight steps:
- Reserve. Book online, call (512) 555-0199, or walk in. Tell us your floor type (tile, VCT, sealed concrete, epoxy) and square footage so we match pads and chemistry.
- Pick up & check in. Bring a valid photo ID and a card for the refundable $300 deposit. Scrubbers roll up a standard ramp; we will help load.
- Safety walkthrough. We demonstrate pad installation, squeegee adjustment, solution flow, and battery charging. PPE guidance: gloves when mixing concentrate, caution signs posted, and cords kept clear of walkways.
- Prep the floor. Sweep or dust-mop thoroughly — grit under a pad scratches finish. Mix solution per the dilution chart and fill the tank.
- Scrub in overlapping passes. Walk at a steady pace with slight overlap; let the machine's weight do the work. Empty the recovery tank and refill solution as needed.
- Detail the edges. The machine cannot reach baseboards — use the included edge pad or a mop for the last two inches along walls.
- Recharge & clean up. Rinse both tanks, wipe the squeegee, and plug in the charger (scrubbers) so the next renter starts full. A quick cleanup protects your deposit.
- Return & inspection. Return by 6:00 PM on your due date. We inspect pads, squeegees, and tanks with you, then release the deposit hold — usually within 1–2 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an auto scrubber and a buffer?
An auto scrubber washes and vacuums-dries the floor in one pass, leaving it clean and ready to walk on. A low-speed buffer (floor machine) is for stripping old finish, scrubbing with pads, and burnishing or polishing. Many jobs need both: scrub first, then polish.
How much floor can I scrub in one rental day?
A 20-inch walk-behind scrubber cleans roughly 15,000–20,000 square feet per hour of operation, so a single day covers most retail stores, restaurants, and office floors. Larger 26–28 inch models cover 25,000+ square feet per hour.
Do I need experience to operate a floor scrubber?
No. Walk-behind scrubbers are designed for first-time operators: squeeze the handle, walk forward, and the machine does the rest. Our pickup walkthrough covers pad changes, squeegee adjustment, and solution flow, and the manual stays with the machine.
Are pads and cleaning chemicals included?
Yes. Every rental includes a full pad set matched to your floor type (red, green, and black pads) plus one gallon of neutral floor cleaner concentrate, enough for a typical day of scrubbing. Extra pads and chemicals are available at the counter.
Will the scrubber fit through my doorways and on my floors?
Our compact 20-inch scrubbers fit through standard 32-inch doorways and work on tile, sealed concrete, vinyl, and epoxy. Tell us your floor type at booking and we will confirm the right machine and pad combination.
What deposit is required for a floor scrubber rental?
A refundable $300 deposit is held on a credit or debit card at pickup with a valid photo ID, reflecting the value of the equipment. The hold is released after the return inspection, usually within 1–2 business days depending on your bank.
